Valentine's Day Ideas!

Valentine's Day is THE Sweetest Holiday! How are you planning on spending it? Here are some ideas:

1. Without a sweetie? That is ok, chocolate can be your sweetheart! Before I was married, chocolate was my sweetheart (only now I have two!). Yes, I would go and buy Valentine's Day chocolate for myself and why not? I love chocolate and there are wonderful chocolate out there for Valentine's Day. This year consider a Girls' Night In! Pick up the movie Chocolat or Eat, Pray, Love have some chocolate martinis and you are all set!

2. Do you have little sweethearts? Make the day special for them as well!

* White Frosty Smoothies, let them drizzle the Raspberry Dessert sauce in their glass or add it after and then swirl the two together - FUN!

* Make brownies (Truffle Fudge Brownies!!!) and then use heart shaped cookie cutters to cut out the brownies. Let them frost and decorate with Valentine's sprinkles swirling white chocolate over dark to make them look marbleized. Or after the brownies come out of the oven and are still warm - ahh!! spread some melted chocolate on top, then place a Valentine's Day design transfer sheet on top. When the brownies are cooled, remove the plastic from the design transfer sheet and brownies. YUM!!! Or maybe they are too pretty to eat? You decide :)

* How fun would it be to get them involved in candy making? They could learn so much about chocolate at the same time, the different properties, types, etc...Make molded chocolates, truffles in heart shapes, put two little candy canes together and then fill with chocolate....I have more ideas, but those are a few!!!

3. Your Sweetheart! If you are going out for the evening, end the evening at home with chocolate martinis or fondue. What is sexier than melted chocolate??? Our heart-shaped fondue set for two is perfect along with some premium DOVE chocolate, made with 100% cocoa butter so it is silky smooth!!! But dip strawberries, raspberries, etc...warm chocolate to warm you from the inside out! Or consider champagne and chocolate covered strawberries that you have made yourself? Another idea is our fabulous Cabernet Raspberry Fudge Sauce. I am keeping things clean, but you can decide....The Cabernet Raspberry Fudge Sauce is on sale this month!!! It is wonderful over chocolate cake, ice cream, cheesecake, etc...I also enjoy mixing it with whipped topping. It is nice and light and great for dipping fruit into or a topping on chocolate cake for instance. DOVE makes fudge sauce first and then adds the wine, so this is definitely for adults only! Note: a little goes a long way!!!!

4. Cannot forget our decadent Valentine's Day Dessert Collection. Designed by one of the Top 10 Chocolatiers, Jin Caldwell! She is an Associate of DOVE/MARS and works from the Ethel M Kitchen in Las Vegas! Our collection is divine, offering six dessert flavors (Dark Chocolate Mousse, Cheesecake, Tiramisu, Cinnamon Roll, Passion Fruit and Lemon Meringue Pie). Which will she favor? This is something both of you may enjoy together with wine or champagne as well!

The Dessert Collection is also wonderful for any special person in your life - Mom, sister, best friend, etc...you may even want one for yourself?
